About Us

Shelly and Jeff have a combined experience of 21 years in the industry.  Jeff has a background of woodworking, machinery, and a degree in electronics.  Shelly has a strong background in art. 

Music is on both sides of the family tree, as Jeff's great-grandfather was a violin maker, and upholsterer, and his grandfather was a violinist with the Reading Symphony Orchestra in the olden days, a music teacher, and an advocate for advancing music in Reading, Pennsylvania and in surrounding areas.  Shelly had musicians in her family history.

Jeff has served for 10 years as a luthier's apprentice.

They directed a firm for 3 years as a journeyman.  They have owned their violin shop for 5 years.
